(a) admission to membership is subject to verification, approval, and entry into the Register of Members;

(b) the Association may require additional information or supporting documents for verification of eligibility;

(d) by submitting this application, I consent to the Association collecting, recording, using, disclosing, and processing my personal data as provided in this form or as may be collected from time to time for purposes of administration of my membership and the affairs of the association, alumni engagement, networking, communication and correspondence with me, historical preservation, legal or regulatory compliance, and such other purposes consistent with the objectives of the Association. My personal data may be disclosed to the Management Committee, Patron(s) of the Association, authorised Members, authorised non-Member KYSERs, authorised current teachers, staff or students of KYSM, and service providers of the Association acting in furtherance of the above purposes. It will not be sold or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes without my further consent. I understand that I may, at any time, request access to or correction of my personal data by writing to the Secretary of the Association. I further understand that I may withdraw this consent at any time by written notice to the Secretary, subject to any legal or contractual obligations of the Association. I acknowledge that as certain personal data is necessarily processed for the proper administration of my membership and the Association's compliance with applicable law, withdrawal of consent may result in a significant impairment in the enjoyment of full membership privileges and may in particular cases result in the suspension or expulsion of my membership. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to withdrawal, nor does it affect data the Association is required to retain by law.
